No Joke - just a sad fact of postal life.

These are heavy expensive items that need to be sent out via insured courier - which is £7.95 (+VAT).

If you would rather pay less and have them sent out via non-guaranteed and non-insured royal mail then this can be arranged if you call the office - it will still be about £4.00 (+VAT) though for Royal Mail with the size and weight of these parts.

As far as I know nowhere else sells these items.

I wouldn't be complaining about that, actually that's a very fair cost for postage.

Just think of all the money you'll earn using it.

By my estimation, every £1 you spend on window cleaning stuff earns you £50 back per month, there's no business like it!  Just smile and pay the money.

Alex has already told you he can do it for £4, so why not have them sent for £4?  Or are you just stirring for the sake of it now?

According to Royal mail it would cost close to £4 inc vat (if ya private) just in a bubble wrap bag,

I have one sat on my desk so just weighed it. But for some gay reason i got them with 6mm barbs lol

I thought along those lines when I bought a similar connector from the same range but they are of the highest quality & I'd not hesitate to buy one again if needed (although I reckon that's quite a while off if weight truly is a measure of quality!)  ;)

We get annoyed when our customers complain about our prices, but thats the price we charge for a good service. Gardiners have to charge accordingly, they don't set the postage costs!
