Would be worried about getting a bit of grit on the pad and scrapping the glass.

Don't think that would be an issue myself with the flow of the water it should rinse the pad at the same time.

It looks utter rubbish, pointless & a very poor attempt at WFP replacement. I'm a trad wagtail fan but this thing is disastrous!!

Not sure how you'd clean frames as well as a brush does.

5 x faster    looks slower to me swivelling side to side. they wagtail pads are not the best for scrubbing.

Guess we will have to wait to see genuine window cleaner reviews first before we all pass judgment. I remember there was a similar knee jerk response from trad guy’s when wfp was first introduced.

i think it will have uses probably more in commercial work, large fascia panels etc.
i have this type of scrubber from wagtail on a pole and i loved it

i assume the window cleaning warehouse will have them in stock eventually

Might be good for solar panels and velux windows.

the same probably was said about water fed poles when they where first bought out, think its worth a go if it saves you more time, might supprise us

I did wonder years ago whether a pad might work better than a brush. I think you'd be limited though to the kind of work it was used on - it couldn't clean a frame and glass at the same time for example. I think the pad would clog and have a very short life.

IMO there is nothing this wagtail jobby could do even equal to, let alone better than a normal wfp! I can only think of negatives, no positives.

Trapped dirt, corners hard to get into it, dragging dirt along!

Are the jets above the wagtail then? Coz thats a clever idea if they are. So when you clean the top of the glass you can spray water straight into the vents

 If you caught the edge of a frame it's going to lose contact with the glass. Hmmm, maybe not a good idea at all.

The fella is certainly enthusiastic but I can't think of a single situation where it would be better than using a standard brush. Maaaaybe solar panels but I doubt even that.

In the video where he cleans the green sign it makes it look crap, no scrubbing power at all.
