Before you say Gardiners.i tried to last night but got my order cancelled.

This email is to inform you that your order has been cancelled & your payment refunded to you. While we appreciate all interest in our products, it is not our policy to directly sell our products to competing pole suppliers as we feel it is not in our best interests to do so.Kind regards,EmmaEmma Kelley - Sales Team[LOGO]<http://www.gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/01726 66400

Surely you could order one under someone else's name and address etc. Seems daft turning down business as the competitor can easily get it another way.

This is a weird thread. It makes no sense unless the o/p is trying to make a point about something he's not saying.

Hose can be bought from any supplier. As already stated, use a different name etc, to order, and there's plenty of info been posted in the recent past on the topic.

Why would Gardiner's not sell something to a competitor knowing that if that competitor was serious, they'd order it via someone else and how did Gardiner's know the o/p was a competitor?

And who is Diamond Standard Ltd?

Weird.

Hilarious!

Also amateurish and childish.

Smacks of paranoia and insecurity.

Just get a relative or friend to order for you next time.

Not sure i agree that it is childish.

If they beleive he is gearing to supply poles, why help him?

If you knew someone who was cheaper priced and who wasnt a good friend of ours, would you let then run some of your work for a while? Course you wouldn't, just good business sense.
A manager is generally someone who has been promoted to the position by someone else who didn't see them as a threat.
Hence all people are promoted to the level of their incompetence

What's up?

Can't you source some pole hose from your chums in China?

Let the suppliers deal with the headache - the poles are reasonably priced nowadays anyway.
