Airflex pro custom
« on: December 11, 2013, 06:09:55 pm »
Hi I am looking at getting a new machine. I was looking at the powr flite blackmax but the lack of adjustable heat put me off. I am seriously considering the Airflex Pro custom as i like a series set up. Has any one got a pro custom or a magma heater. I would just like to get some opinions before I buy.

Hopefully someone had one to give you a review  ...
It is an exact copy of the Enforcer spec wise  , so you could take into account those performance reviews also  .

I think people on here have used the magma heater, shame no one has got back to you.

I can't help I'm afraid, I use an Alltec machine!

Hope all goes well, look forward to hearing about it.

I like the idea of a custom build. You buy what you want, and don't pay for what you don't.

You don't have to be a power mad freak in this job  ::)roll

I have the Storm and a Magma, excellent machine, don't know how it would compare to a custom built though. I have only recently got the Magma and won't use it on every job but just those that need a bit of extra umph!!, heats up in a minute or two and I have hot water at the wand and that's using 50 foot of solution hose with the magma connected to the main machine, could get it even hotter if used closer to the wand.  Have a look at the video on the Cleansmart website.

Have magma and using usually only for upholstery, not enough power for 2 jet wand on 200-300psi.
work goes too slow if you are trying to keep the water hot.
But i have a cold water on the van, a bit better during summer.

Yeh its a really good idea, I was talking to Mark from cleansmart today and he says they have built parallel set up machines with different motor configurations too. So with the Airflex custom you can pretty much have whatever setup you want.

I have a storm and a mini twin vac use both with the magma think you would be better with parallel vacs as you can
add the booster if you want more vacuum don't think it works  with the series set up but ask Matt

I probably wont ever get a booster as I generally only ever use 50 ft of hose. I found my ninja to be great at these lengths so the Airflex should be more than enough. I'm personally an advocate of the series set up but thats a subject i think no one will ever agree on. Which is why the custom idea is so good.
