Wow!  Really?  You reckon everything will just be turned off?  They can't.  The government has agreed to pay the FiTs for years to come.  The Renewable Energy Roadmap will prevent a huge turn-off.  It won't happen....

They will make the solar panel that is transparent so they can be stacked on top of each other.

Cutting cleaning down by 10 fold as only the top panel will need cleaning.

At the end if the day-people vote with their wallets.
If he can put more cash in them-he'll get more if the vote.

on a domestic level, if i can reach it comfortably with my SLX35 then i will clean them, if asked, no advertising other than that im not interested, i really dont see much money value to solar panel cleaning in the domestic market

I mentioned it to a solar panel installer and he said wheels are already in motion on it

Couldn't give a monkeys what happens.
I clean them for existing customers and charge £5.00 per panel.
Window cleaning is the main course of my business, I'm not that interested in cleaning Solar panels.

He can't.  If you signed up at 45.9p/KWh when your panels were installed, he reduce your rate and he can't pull the plug.  It will be that for the life of the FiT.

Nothing is set in stone Steve.
If enough people will benefit from it, it'll happen.
In the UK they don't generate enough revenue.
Not as bad as the bloomin wind eyesores.
Obviously this is just my opinion though...

Locally some beermat market research shows there is relatively little interest in regular yearly cleans of SPs. This may be down to my location which is very rural.

I'm not saying I won't get into it in the future, but for now it's on the backburner.

No one has ever been electrocuted by a solar panel.
Pole-same.
A soft brush may be the only extra thing you need.
And the paperwork and methodology obviously.

No not really, about 30 to 40 of my customers have panels, probably cleaned about 10 12 of them if they ask.

I couldn't find a single case online of someone being electrocuted a few months back...
Perhaps your mates could post their experiences?
