Craftex do a neutral ph degreaser ! Pretty good on this sort of stuff ! Steer away from solvents though unless you want delamination

Hi Alan
Pureclean is a good product to use on these.
I find I can use solvents, white spirit would be my choice on this but only sparingly, apply to towel, work in extract.
A solvent will not dissolve the adhesive instantly so a few seconds should be o.k.
I would not use acetone or acetate such as POG on these.
Cheers

I did some restaurant chairs in cream faux suede Full Grease ,stains I first I was really careful with them , after no 20 i said sod it and got a bucket full of blitz or powerburst and soaked them and agitated then extracted dried in the sun and they came up mint .
Somtimes we are over cautious

Before you use any thing like white spirit try fabric restorer it is effective on body oils if that is what you mean by grease. Isoproanol is also effective on some greases.

Hi Guys
Just to clarify I am talking about using solvent sparingly to remove stains which have otherwise not been removed.
I would start by using Pureclean, possibly boosted with an enzymes if dining chairs.
Faux suede is a tough material which is quite good to clean just avoid excessive heat and solvents.
Cheers

people go on about solvents as it they are all the same, They are very specific in their uses. one solvent that will break up a certain make up of adhesive will have no effect on another formulation of adhesive.
Fabric restorer is safe on most types of fabrics and even used undiluted.
