Quality , I Did my Peugeot expert van once and it's fantastic.
Since then I've just used protectakote , but fibreglass is the best

Bullett proof and more hard wearing .

Nice one .

Where you sourced it from , I got mine from peter fogwill , last time .

because I brought  a large amount I don't know how much it cost but I did try and break down at the end  ie 5 lt resin, I lt hardener , 1 litre of gel coat  ,5 sq matting at a guess I would say about £60-80 but I am sure you could find some good deals on e-bay

I looked before and they sell the ready made kits.
Just type in fiberglass kit and look for the 4m2 one.

Nice vid mate. What thickness mating do you need as I understand they come in different thickness ?

Does the finish come up slippery as i remember another OP saying his was too slippery ?

cheers

its doesnt matter what thickness off matting, the thickness represents how strong it will bond together and dry, he will hardly be climbing into his van very much so the strength shouldnt be an issue.
It is also rather slippy when wet

Mark, just to hijack your post - how did those prototype blue and white brushes compare to the black and white mixed?

Were they Extreme brushes or Superlights?

You want to get a non slip top coat it has grit in it which gives you the non slip surface.

Dave I like the blue and white brushes best and I tried them out in extreme and the superlite range these are the ones I am told which will be made

As Peter says you can get a none slip coat to paint over  but if you already have some top coat when it is still wet sprinkle silver sand over the top. This was in the back of a transit connect so to be honest I wont be getting in the back of it . But I have also done the same in the back of my traffic in in 3 years never slipped

The correct way is to use chicken grit,

step 1) fibreglass using matting etc, (leave to dry)

step 2) resin back over what you have done sprinkle the chicken grit evenly over wet resin (leave to dry)

step 3)  brush away any excess grit,

step 4) top coat over all the fibreglased areas,

the gel coat is the most important part as this is the bit that makes it waterproof (fibre glass resin is not waterproof)
