It looks really good BUT I would have mounted the flow controller on the other side, as I believe where you have mounted is where all the electronics are for the alarm and fuel pump. If you keep the controller in that position in will cause many issues and maybe even an explosion. Of course i am lying and winding you up. But i bet i had you for a moment.

I thought so, just looking at your photos and I can't see how you will get the straps into the van floor D Rings because of the plywood the tank will be sitting on.
You could drill 4 large holes 2" diameter or so using a hole saw near each corner of the plywood to feed the straps through I suppose.
Might just be the angle the photo is at though if you have already thought of something?

The 4 D rings that I need to use, can actually be accessed as there is a gap either side, all I will need to do is maybe put some sponge inbertween the strap and wood so that it doesnt rub. Get me?

Perhaps I will be better off doing what you have suggested. I will see tomorrow and make a decision, thanks for the imput.

Do you have a wood fetish? Why not plonk the tank on the floor like 99.99% of everyone else?
Get the centre of gravity as low as you can then use the wood to make some cross beams up in the roof for the light stuff.

Wanted the step ladders under stored away, to save getting pointer off the roof. And didnt want them getting in the way of the WFP system....

No it's arse backwards. Put the ladders up inside the roof - they are the lightest things you've got besides the poles.

All that plywood - doubled up is extra weight plus the bulkhead and you are already eating into your payload. You could sling the lot. (not the bulkhead  )

Hi James, Dave is spot on . When you get your frame fitted , this needs to be bolted into the floor of the vehicle and not on your wooden framework. Ed
