Im from Newcastle and wanting to go into Fire / Flood Cleaning but need Training has anyone got any good advise where to look or any places that offer this?

I was BDMA senior tech when with a franchise - its more expensive in the long run as the fees to stay a member are around £200.00 and you have a log book which will be checked to prove you have done enough (BDMA approved - more expensive!!!)training etc to keep your membership. The senior tech exam is pretty hard I spent 3 days at head office revising and a crammer day before the exam. The tech exam is a lot easier. if you are forced down the route BDMA or flood school for cost reasons. A lot of the work in this area is easy peasy hence the reasons the insurance companies are passing it to the building network - they finally worked it out lol

National flood school at farnham is the best trainer.

T get properly kitted out you need 20k worth of kit , its easy to make a good return though, if you get the work in.
