123 jobs you have binned?

Crikey, everyday you must have worked on nightmare houses.

I have only a handful that I would debate throwing away, and funny enough they are friends or family.

I do. I wonder if I'd've given them one more chance, would they have seen the light.
I know they probably wouldn't, I just wonder.
Especially if it's one next door to another customer.

I agree...but, I have a different view, just charge more for anyone who is awkward etc. so that you stay at the top of your earnings per hour.
It's not always clear why people mess, I had one 'put the windows on hold for a few months' I put the price up went back and they had replaced the windows making the job easier for more dosh.

I have one rule, never take it personal but make them pay more if they mess you around, if they cancel then it's no loss.

The only thing I don't do are dog poo garden houses, everything else is possible, at a price
A manager is generally someone who has been promoted to the position by someone else who didn't see them as a threat.
Hence all people are promoted to the level of their incompetence

I agree, I have some who are away on hols & ask can we leave nxt month, alarm etc or some work been done at house ,I always say fine no problem ...I feel it's good to be a little flexible with people as we are all different but this customer was more like telling me 'right stop till march cause can't b bothered with windows at moment'  so for reason I felt better rid !

Top reply Shane O'Neill.

Mind you I wonder what reply it would have evoked if you had simply replied "No."  ;D
It's a game of three halves!
