Aquadaptor red hose
« on: December 04, 2013, 09:51:39 pm »
Hi all

I just have to say how impressed we have been with aquadaptor red hose.... Couldn't get the gardineroles thermabore so plumpted for the aquadaptor even thought was more expensive... 2x 100 m reels.....
It's lighter, flexible, holds its shape and dexterity ..... Marvelllllous stuff

Basically if you are going hot r need new hose then it's well worth the extra...

Cheers

Matt

I cannot see a 100 mtr Thermobore hose equivalent (6mm i/d 12mm o/d) on the Aquadapter website, only pole hose?

it looks really good hose.ive had my thermobore for nearly 2 years but its started bubbling up a bit now i use hot water.its not actually burst but its swelled up in places and looks like pasta twists! ::)roll

ill take a few pics tomorrow of it and put it up on here.

i have got the aqua-daptor red pole hose and its fantastic with hot water.i might end up buying some of this hose for my reel although i would like my thermobore to last another year ideally. ::)roll

It's only 5.5 millimetres inside diameter, think that's less than micro bore and mini bore.

Pole hose has a 8mm OD but 5mm ID. Micro bore has a 6 or 8mm id, but a 12/13mm od

It is pole hose.

Yes Lee, it is pole hose with a 5.5 ID
But it seems to be getting popular because its lightweight.
The ID is only Half a mm smaller than microbore, thats why the flow rate is fine.
