Hi guys witch carpet protector is the best ? I been using socotchgard in past , very good but bit expensive !! I am looking for good carpet protector  but not excessively espencsive ... Any advice very welcome ...

I liked the one with eye of newt and rats tongues, although mixing it in a big cauldron  was a bit messy.

So i use chemspec stain shield concentrate

this is something that you can't to know for sure.
This need long term testing. Few protectors on the same carpet/upholstery.
There is also question on my mind, woc is not cheaper then others, so why their protector is so cheap?

Chemspec Stainshield is the latest Polymer technology. Scotchguard is just far too expensive to be economical in use.

Hector, becouse i had bad experience with woc i does not mean i am going to be negative on everything that is made by woc. I am using pn myself and most of their chemicals. Trust me, my opinions are not becouse me and nick.

Is there a general one you could recommend for carpets and upholstery?

Can't say I do a lot of stainguarding myself, but I usually use the Carpet protector from craftex ( water based) and the upholstery protector(solvent based)
would be nice though just to have a general one on board for both.

I used to use fluroseal many moons ago, but protect nano is as good as anything else out there, even if it is cheap..

I speak as I find mate, I dealt with solutions for over 8 years there service was second to none
But I had issues with the Jaguar and they blamed me for its failing, hence I am no longer a customer! Buts there loss and John Kellys gain
