No the valve is left alone, the reason for the valve is so i can drain the pump out at night. (basically pumping pump dry for a few seconds)

If you look in the night photograph you will see a grey box.

It has a massive power switch to turn the flow controller on and off. Once the controller has been set i just switch the controller on and off via the switch.

This controller is the nuts!

http://www.gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/acatalog/Easy-Analogue-Liquid-Logic----trade-----Pump-Flow-Controller--LIQUIDLOGIC_ANALOG.html

If i didnt have the switch fitted, then i would have to set the flow each time. And that would really annoy me.

The reason for the big switch is so i can bash with pole to stop and start ;)

Im happy with mine because i have bought bits as and when i have the money! So a year ago i was using a heavy XTEL pole, small car battery, no flow control and my van was bare wood not water proofed!
This year has treat me well ;D

Are there some sort of coloured balls in your tank or are my eyes messing with me?

 ???

Yeah they are asda play balls. £4 for a 100. Used a soldering iron to puncture the balls about 6
Times. Then placed them in my tank.

Basically cheapo baffle balls.

They ferry syndrome did my head in. So this reduced it loads.

That's awesome.

Does your strip light run off your van electrics or leisure battery? Really good idea putting that in.

It runs off the van battery. I have 3 In total.

All three draws less than one bulb. I have taken out the crappy vauxhall bulbs and used the wiring. So if I open either door it lights up the van. I used to do some night cleaning (commercial etc) but it got too much. I say night cleaning it was internal
Trad work. But something I needed stuff from van

Cheap ratchet straps. About £2 each.

Lights are custom built. BUT just search for 12v led strip lighting.

Cost me about £25 for 8 lol. I used 3 as any more and be blind
