Is anyone using it? I heard the best one is a Green Glide. What type should I get (I got a 2 jets wand) ?

there crap stop away from them , they make the job easy but your cleaning wont be as good with them , i wont use them there for wimps

We used wand glides since they first came out. The advantages, apart from making the wand easier to use is that they focus the suction through slots or holes and so clean more efficiently, leaving the carpet drier, there is some science to this but that is beyond me, all I know is they work and are well worth the money.

Every second room i do is a woolen carpet, usually dirty one that need good agitation what generate a lot of fluff, now try to pick it up with the wand using the glide. Not possible.
piece of plastic that is ridiculously over-priced.
got my for free with the storm and not using. Need to sell it.
Are thay good, do not know as never used one due to the fluff problem. Might be good for those who do not agitate mechanically.

Simon, did not know that you need to use glides for your tm to get carpets much drier.

I use a slotted glide on my truckmount wand and it picks up the fluff fine whereas my with my portable i have to keep stopping to unblock the wand which i don't use a glide on.

Never had a problem picking up debris with a slotted glide with a tripple vac or a twin 6.6 but I do use an mytee inline filer to keep most of the fluff away from the tank
