Spam filter
« on: November 18, 2013, 02:16:42 pm »
On another thread recently I said that I had been having trouble with my website contact forms not reaching me.

Luckily for me my son works in IT and has been able to (partly) sort it for me.  It seems that Virgin's spam filter decided (around the 10th October) that messages via my websites are spam and duly witheld them and stored them in an online spam folder.

I didn't even know there was such a thing >:(

I've just been through it and retrieved lots of messages including Jolisian enquiries which I've now responded to.

My apologies to anyone who thought I was rudely ignoring them :-[

My son couldn't find a way to mark website messages as being from a trusted source so I will have to go online daily and check the spam folder.

Anyone know how I can tell the ***** thing to stop interfering with my mail???

Cheers,

Ian

It is a pain Ian sometimes it happens to me some messages which are trusted or should be trusted end up in the spam folder.

As you say just check them on a daily basis that's what i do.
Dave.
