Going by the cost of Ionics equiptment in recent years I'd say it'd be a lot cheaper to just use more water. sorry

I really like the idea of a 'green' system.

I like the idea of it, but as already mentioned, I suspect the price will put off the majority.

Cmon diyers there must be a way of doing this with our own RO units ???

The waste could be put into a second water butt and the water pumped back through RO somehow ?

or is that too easy  :-\

Just a thought !!!

Zero waste is the way to go. Its inevitably going to be expensive as its the 1st. Unfortunately most of us will never have a round that could absorb the cost of introducing pioneering equipment.
Maybe one day.... :-\

You could cut down the waste by feeding some of it into your hot water and storage tank.  We produce too much waste to use it all on baths etc, but even if you used half then you would have around 30% waste instead of 60%

What about watering your garden, car, van,KIDS etc. etc

Seriously if Ionics have done it some genius out there will soon sort it out for the rest of us.
