I wonder how many turns before it starts to get loose and leak.
Plus I don't like the fact that you have to put the brush back onto the clean glass
to turn it off.
Especially if there are some cobwebs stuck in the bristles.

Good points Sean.

I personally don't think all the cons were thought about enough. However, Doug from Daqua who is stocking the product says he has it on trial and it is a great product and works well.

Weight wise I hear that it will be no lighter than an Aquadapter and a similar price, so for me I don't see the need for one. There are a few guys on the forum that prefer the hose to be outside of the pole, so for them this might be a positive product.

Good product, like all new things takes a day or two to get used
To it but shuts the water off & on as needed.
The hose can be inside or outside pole and I shut the water off
On the sill not the glass as I always clean the sill anyway.

I don't like it.

1- looks like it would turn itself off and on when you are just using your pole.  Especially at awkward angles etc.  That would only have to happen a couple of times to make you want to stamp on it.

2 - You've cleaned the windows, lifted the brush off to rinse, great.  Now to turn the water off you have to... put it back on the glass?  The glass you've just spent time rinsing?  If you do it will probably need rinsing again.  Problem.

3 - I don't like the way it adds extra length to the collapsed pole. I don't like the aquadaptor for this reason too.

4 - Looks a bit fragile to be at the business end of the pole.

+1 plus it wouldn't work with my superb swivel resi-neck.

The AquaTap does rely on having the brush resting on something to operate and for those worried about a dirty brush resting on the glass after its been cleaned, you just simply rest it below the glass on the frame.

It weighs in at only 70 grams so hardly noticeable on the end of the pole. Yes it could be a lot less fragile looking, it could be made of metal, but it wouldn't make it practical on the end of the pole.

so the brush picks up a load of crud ready to smear onto the next window?  Maybe I'm OCD but I don't let my brushes touch anything other than the glass they are cleaning so they don't pick up crud.  Sorry but IMO this part has not been very well thought out.

Its the LENGTH of the collapsed pole it adds to that would bother me.  Being a strapping hunk of pure muscle I'm not bothered about the weight, but the length... well less is more.
