i was thinking of that, buying one ,but what has made me think is that you need an adapter/ screw thread between the pole and the aqua tap so this will increase weight  and at the moment i am trying to reduce weight due to a shoulder injury and i use a carbon goose neck so it would e a complete change for me so for now....i am out :D

'On paper' this is what I would worry about. I have several conservatory cleans I do that I can't get down the side of and need to be done from the front. If the gap is on the right hand side of the conservatory from the front, scrubbing the muck off the cills will tend to twist the brush due to only half the brush head being used to clean the cill. This twist will switch the tap off.

Supposing that was the case like you say, then I am sure a little bit less pressure on the brush would keep the water pumping.  Think of it this way.  You clean all the conservatory windows that you described, you then clean the ledges, and supposing the water did go off because one half of the brush was being pressed and it just so happened to be on the one side that would turn the water off, would it be a big deal? just scrubbing the already soaked ledge with the water off? That would probably leave the ledges spotless, but if you wanted you could turn the water back on and rinse the ledge without the brush touching it.  Like I said it is a very easy way to control water flow for maybe 95% or so of cases, yes there may be some cases where you have to modify the way you work as in this case, clean the windows of each one first then do the ledges afterwards.  No point in writing something off that could save you a great deal of hassle, water, and time because of something that may happen on a tiny percentage of the window you clean.  Think more of the advantages on the other 95% or so of windows that are cleaned.  Supposing it did need locked then yes it would defeat the purpose on the small minority of windows as you would not be able to start and stop the water, but don't forget how easy it would be on the very large percentage.  I had a few windows when I worked that the brush I used couldn't get into, and had to use a cut down brush, I never through the brush away because it didn't work on all the windows.  It was still the best brush for doing the majority of windows I had.

I already use an Aquadapter and that works fine in all these senarios, Peter. This is what you are up against. But I know you know that already.  :)

seems the plastic inlet at the side looks a bit dodgey if you drop the pole its a good chance of damage.imo may be in the future a mk2
