« on: November 11, 2013, 07:13:01 pm »
Hi Guys
My water pressure has really dropped off (must be new council/water board saving measure) anyway I really need your help guys as to which pump I need to increase the water pressure to my Merlin ? Anyone got a link or a recommendation ?? (As had it filling today with only a trickle into tank so I'm in a panic  :-\ )

I use one like this http://www.aquatec.com/booster-pumps.html never had a problem with it been using the same one for about 6 years now, ours is connected to the automatic switch off when tank is full think the pumps go for about £80

I use the 8800 one, these pumps cant be plugged straight into the mains. I connect mine to a auto cut off and i think its a small transformer as well i'm not sure. Best to give the people in the link a ring as i'm not 100% sure what you would need. Basically the auto cut off is just a float switch that is at the top of the tank and connected to the pump so i can leave the system on all the time and when its full it will turn off (i use a static system not van mount).
