I wonder if anyone can help.
I run 2 liquid logic from gardiners and 2 Shurflo pumps they have been working fine for a year but have suddenly stopped working.
The red ps switch is on and the blue light.
I thought it was the controllers so i bought new ones - same thing happened.
I disconnected everything and tried the pumps direct to the battery they both work fine.
Could it be the pressure switch in both pumps?
Can you use the liquid logics without the pressure switch on the pumps?
Please help this is doing my head in.
Tris
Hi Tristan apologies for the late response, not had chance to check the forums over the weekend. These controls are designed to work with a pump pressure switch fitted. The control does an electrical test to ensure that there is a a circuit. PS will display as a default if the control can not detect the pump.
Check the red cables that run the length of the pump between the base and pump head, Again check for any damage
I would also suggest checking the cables between the controller and pump for any worn/damaged/rusted cable or connectors replace and that are.
if the control is not able to confirm a circuit the pump will not run, for calibration to be adjusted there does need to be a water flow and pressure in the system.
