I was working in the location of AD head office last month so thought I would pop in and have a look. I had forgotten exact location so phoned them but got through to an answering machine. I left my details including purpose of call etc then waited for a response.

Well its been 16 days since I left my message and I'm still waiting for a call back!

yes very bad customer service, their pole hose is a nightmare and Paul told me that some customers like it so tough luck! I wasn't the only one not happy about it, but he refused to admit that could be a bad batch! I won't buy anymore from them!!!!

I dont feel its fair to speak without knowing all the details.
The head office moved 4 months ago, Paul no longer works for aqua-dapter, I last week appointed a new director.
All these changes Did for a while affect the efficiency of Aqua-dapter.
All the same, sorry these things have been left to interpretation.

Ben, what problem have you got with the hose? coiling?

I think AD should have updated customers on the situation.

I knew ages ago about Paul and the situation.

I have been chasing a prize I won it a competition. I got one of the girls to ring round and finally got it sorted with aqua dapter. Only to be without the prize two months down the line. I wasn't impressed being given Paul's personal mobile number as he got quite annoyed with the lady who called for me. Was told I would get the AD three weeks ago. Can't be arsed with it now. I won't be doing the videos I promised.

If AD would have been upfront then I think you would have come out of this a lot better.

I ordered very little from AD maybe 3 times a year. But I did promote the business whenever possible as some parts of AD Made it a pleasure to shop with. Stop promoting AD some time ago.

I always go with good customer service. Alex Gardiner shut shop for a bereavement. The business was shut. Full explanation and serviced resumed as normal a few days latter.

But to email, call and leave messages for a few months kinda takes the P

But I wish AD all the best as they deserve some success.

But you have lost some customers along the way.

Honesty costs nothing.

Hi Steven
How will the full carbon fibre pole compare to its main competitor slx
1- rigidness and lightness
2- the clamps can't be anymore awkward than the gardiners ?
3- Aqua -Adaptor wins it for me as hard to put one on the gardiner stuff now ?
4- price for a 25ft equivalent ??
5- gardiners carbon neck is very very good , what's yours ?

6- dan different makes of brushes be used - Tecbuk , gardiners CILL

Good luck with it , gardiners slx is some pole , high quality , but if you get the clamps working well and the aqua adaptor easily attached to it and a range of brushes dan be used you should sell a fair few .

From the beginning your customer service was as good as Gardiners/Daqua.
But just recently there have been posts that had made me wonder if you had gone out of business.
Surely with a change as big as a move would it not have paid you to start a thread saying the phone may be down for a day or two while you moved?
It seemed Paul to me Paul was Aquadapter.
Good luck moving foreward

I am Honest, Example: if you was late for an appointment and get stuck behind a car, does'nt mean your not sincere.
But been really difficult past few months, I wasnt even aware of paul giving free products away at the time.
I will definitely get your prise out, this week infact.
Lee me and paul have just parted company, we had conflicting ideas, so it was the right move.

Steve,

My experience was good.
Ordered two adapters thursday pm. got them today. supplied a couple of spare springs as well.
A manager is generally someone who has been promoted to the position by someone else who didn't see them as a threat.
Hence all people are promoted to the level of their incompetence

I find their products are very good. I like the new aqua-dapter and I actually do like their red pole hose (in fact I use 50m of it as my main hose on my reel). I think their customer service is old fashioned and out of date. A bit like a 'Two Ronnies' sketch. I think they need to employ a good marketing company to help them with a more modern approach.

So go and check your answer machine dated at approx. 1230 pm on 24th October (both numbers) then at least give me an explanation!
