I'd buy a padded belt that does up with velcro.

I think Winspray make them.

I'd give Dave at soap a ring but i presume (without looking at mine) the clips aren't replacable.

Ps. Re the winspray belt Ross is talking about, they are crap, they don't last vey long. Stick to the unger.

Fin - I beg to differ.

I still do quite an amount of trad one or two days a week, shops, etc, and I've been using the same belt for about 3 or 4 years.

The problem with any belt that clips is adjusting it for the amount of cloths being worn.

Just going on when I tried one out Ross I was using it when trad 5 days a week with two pouches on and it prob lasted only 6 months. It isn't made to the same quality as the unger but it was disappointing as it was a very comfortable belt.

Then again I have been call Victor meldrew a lot lately!  ;D

Fin - I was down your way today and I am glad it was as wet as Brighton.  ;D

Unger stuff is always very well made and usually lasts seemingly forever.

I found the velcro belt is very comfortable to start with but the padding is naff and ceases to be padding after a while. I only use it with a BOAB but I would guess with any real weight on it, it wouldn't last long.

when mine broke, I just bought a new pulex one, like has already been said, you can buy a replacement belt clip for them, who knows they may even work with an unger ?
