Well it's a nice sunny morning, and I'm going to be at home, I'll be watching the Remembrance Day parade on tv. Not because of patriotism. But because I have to cancel a pre booked gutter clean, as i don't have any poles.
Realising that I would need some for this job, I made an order on Wednesday, to arrive by Friday. I phoned the company on Friday afternoon to find out, that they were still sat in their warehouse, instead of in my house. I explained that they were needed for a job on Sunday, and they promised that they would be with me on Saturday.
Did they turn up?
Am I ped off?
Have I lost confidence in the company?
Will i be in a hurry to order more of their products?

It was their big chance to impress you, and you could have told us how good they are, but they blew it.
They had 3 days to get the poles to you, after you had told them they were needed for Sunday !.

Not very impressive what happens if you need spares with customers already booked in ?  

I would ask for compensation.

Here is my worry, if they are f@@king up now, what happens 6 months down the line. However I need to at least hear what they have to say. After all it could be a courier issue or even that the pole were posted from the Philippines! Stranger things have  happened.

IMO a courier issue would account for the first failed delivery (Friday), but there can't really be any excuse for the it happening a second time.

They have been telling me all day that UPS put it on the wrong van, even though they said "it was still in their warehouse" when I called on Friday, their words on Friday, not mine.

They turned up mid morning but after the b@ll@cks that I'd heard, I've told them, I'm not interested in dealing with them, as I have no confidence of their aftersales should I need it. 

That's led on to even more b@ll@cks

I won't name them because I think they're a company in trouble. This is only my opinion, but it's based on 30 years of business.

Anyway I think it's resolved, but won't really know until tomorrow afternoon.

I called Carbon Fibre Tubes, but they're out of stock. They are manufacturering more next week. I've got work booked in for later this week so it's a little bit of a problem.

I would get my money back and go elsewhere, I was looking at someone's post for Grippa Tank in Bedford, if they can not get  them to you they should be shot. as you are in London

All sorted!! Sucked afew buckets full of water through it lastnight looks like abit of roof tile was stuck in the pipe! The suction is ten times more powerfull now even with one motor

If it's happened once, think how often it's going to happen over and over again in the future!

Get some ladders - much more efficient.

Cheers danno, ill still be getting 1 end of month, how do you find the 40' alloy poles are they ok to move around the property? I like the idea of carbon poles but can't help thinking they will wear quickly especially with roof tiles going through them lol!

Iv got the 35' poles mate, i think their fine easy to lift and move around and alot cheaper i expect. Good service with the company too there was no problems sending me a new machine straight away if mine had turned out to be faulty
