It's a catch-tewnty-two as I have kackered a few motors because of crap being sucked up through without using the drum filter. Keeping the filter in all the time especialy when sucking up sludge the drum filter will need cleaning otherwise the vac will loose suction so needs to be removed and hosed through regularly.
Now I only use a wet vac with the drum filter out when just wanting to suck up water.
Hope this helps and saves you a few bob on knackering motors.
I have been using the gutter vac with the filter in at all times.
IT seems like I shouldn't have been doing this?!
Should I remove the filter for normal wet gutter cleaning? Or does the filter prevent any damage to the unit?
