What about Robert Watson, Kev Loomes and Mark Roberts.

All have a CC background do nice sites and understand proper SEO.

Search on CIU for their details

I've just bought one of marks new 'blank' websites and am in the process of filling in all the text, its is a really interesting concept you log into each page then their is a text box like  word document and you just type, then  click publish and is on the website live.

I have just watched the online tutorial video on how to resize photos to put into the gallery and just put in some photos

they are like a self build website with all the technical stuff  done.

this is mine I've only been working on it a couple days, so ignore what I've written, I'm just playing around until I get the jist of it

£89 for 5 blank pages, i'm going to keeps it on the back burner to see if my main website comes back up google

I don't take my t.m. and park it outside the customers house and let them clean there own carpet  and I charge them full rate it seem all web people want you to do this , ok you lot will bang on about how do they know what to put on your site ect ect ect  but all there doing is copy and pasteing stuff no work for there money that's why I don't have a site  :'(

Hi Susan

Your right , they take a lot of time to run , but do give you a good return if used correctly .
You need a carpet cleaner that can write copy and transfer it onto a template website £88 is a good deal if the content is good without the content and monthly updates it won't rank .

You make a good point Susan and I think some will do that.

Not only will they take time to quizz you about what you want, they will have an idea of what copy is likely to get the phone ringing and be good for rankings. But that is time consuming and costs much more. A half way house is to provide the words yourself and let them do the techy stuff.

I like the idea of working in very specific markets so you know the industry rather than copywriting for all and sundry, it means a steep learning curve with every new niche.
It's not expensive, you just can't afford it.

My web designers did a lot of the text for me. Basically I told them what I wanted to say and they wrote it in a way that sounded better.

www.cleaning4swindon.co.uk cost me £550. Not dirt cheap but I'm very happy with it.

Why oh why do these idiots insist on using white text on a black background.

Don't they ever read any of the advertising industry tests (50% readership compared to black text on white)?
