Van pics needed
« on: March 12, 2006, 09:27:50 am »
Hello all,

I'm on the lookout for a new/nearly new van.

I'm in desperate need of some inspiration and would like to know what vans you guys are using for what type of work.

I know some of you have posted pics of your mean machines on here before but thought it would be nice to have them all on one posting.

So, to help me make an informed decision and boost some egos i thought we'd have a BEST VAN competition.

Please post pics, van type and whether you're trad, trolley, backpack, van mount etc.

I would do this as a poll for voting but don't know how to set it up. If anyone could do this then that would be great.

Thanks,
Sunshine

STEPHEN , what can i say , good choice of van mate !

SUNSHINE , go for the transporter , mine is a 1200 KG payload , SWB , 2.5 tdi it has the 425 L van mount and there is now a trolley system where the grey box is by the back door , and as you can see , i still have loads of room left to walk right through the van if i want to , how many other vans let you do that ?

You might be able to get through Jays if your a pole vaulter !   ;D ;D ;D

  SORRY  JAY   ;)

good point malc
and here's the reason why
all my work is local so i can go home to top up
only do tops wfp, bottoms trad so don't use too much water
need to leave plenty of room in the back because i also do discos

P@F,

I see from your pics that you have your tanks in a white tray, where did you get
them or did you make it yourself. Good idea.

Cheers

I dont want to be a stick in the mud, But can I ask how comes you are useing a Ionics Patented Symbol on the side of your van when you do not have one of theis systems Fitted?

D.A.SERVICES, It is not a tray , its that pvc cladding they use on the front of houses , its just there to make it look pretty !

NEIL 100 , My signwriter just went and did it , when i realized what it was i went back to see him about it and he tells me that it came from signwriting software that he uses called freeware , apparently the original artist still has rights over its use , and he gave the design to freeware , i dont know if that is the truth for sure but the signwriter said if i get any problems send them to see him .

SUNSHINE , I paid £900 for the system with a bag of resin .

Mind you for that price i did not get the big orange pole and one of the tanks has been added since .

 Rich P @ F

P.S. It was all fitted by myself , so i dont know how much it would cost to have fitted .
