Have a look at the Samich Runner, or better still the Lotus, (www.samich.it) its a much more capable machine IF you are looking to do more than cleaning.

I would buy them off him at that price!  He is cheaper than Klindex.  By the time you buy them, pay Klindex the packing charge and shipment from Italy.  Then get them into the warehouse, check them, convert the plug to CE British Waterproof 3 pin and test them and then pay the VAT.  Finally we are a business not a charity so I do need to put some profit on them  I cannot even get close to that price.

However, he has done it before so here is a public announcement so you know how serious I am.

chances are he's selling them as a loss leader to drum up and promote business, with a chance of getting long term customers off the back of it. nothing wrong with that.

The current List price of the Rocky 17" CPL that is the version with the tank, driveboard and brush is €1395 Euros and that does not include the €15 they charge to box each machine or the €30-100 per machine they charge for shipping depending on how many you buy.

So even forgetting the packing and shipping for a minute let'd do the math!

Cost in Klindex Catalogue List Price €1395 less around €130 for £:€ exchange = £1265.  Assume you can get up to 40% discount £506 = £759 and now you have to get it packed and shipped so assuming you get that for £40 all in (Unlikely) and if you are not VAT Registered pay the Italian  VAT at 21% so with the best will in the World the cheapest it will be comes out at £967 inc VAT.  You might get it in about 10 Days if you are lucky and you have to pay Bank Charges as well!  So now a £1000 is more realistic.   Then it arrives and you have to unpack it and put a UK Plug on!  No problem as long as it doesn't arrive damaged!!!  If it does pack it back up again and send it back to them  (Wait til you find out what a pallet costs to Italy).  Then sit back and wait for it or a replacement to come back again.

We charge around the same price or maybe a smigeon more!  For that you get it the same day as you order it if you collect, or the next day if you order over the phone.  You have a 2 Year UK Warranty and if it arrives damaged I will change it for a new one in 48 hours!

Not even worth thinking about! IMHO

I sold one last year Brand New with a small scrape on the handle for £749 + VAT.  I could have sold 20 at that price!  There is a guy in Stoke on Trent just sold one for £820 cash!

I have got more people out of the poo than I care to mention who have dealt with him.  You cannot run a business over here, carry spare parts and offer a 100% back up service to your customers for SFA.  Go and buy one!  He will probably sell you one at that price just to get at me!  I don't care mate because this is a fact
