The Royal Parks is looking to outsource public toilets in various parks
and procure cleaning services for buildings across its estate (mainly
offices, with the exception of 'The Hub' sports centre in The Regent's
Park, which will also be included in the tender). The public toilets
outsourcing element of the tender will include: installing charging
aparatus and cash handling facilities; and operating, maintaining,
cleaning and staffing toilets. The contract duration will be either: (i) 5
years with an optional additional 2 year extension period; or (ii) 3 years
with 2 optional extension periods of 2 years each. Extension periods will
be awarded at the Authority's discretion subject to supplier performance.
