corwoods L5 HEATER connections
« on: October 25, 2013, 08:17:36 pm »
i had to order my heater from corwoods online. ive also ordered a £200 reel from them.i went down today and bought some scrim,a scraper and a new leisure battery.lovely young lady that works there on the counter! ;) ;D

anyway on topic.i want to fit a hoselock onto the water inlet from pump on the unit but does this have a screw fitting?im not sure what connection i need?

will my washing machine hose just screw onto the water outlet?

and finally on the corwoods site it says the heater comes with a gas regulator.is this suitable?or will i have to buy another UK regulator?

cheers guys

so corwoods don't shock the heaters then which means there probably come straight from china and they put a big mark up. :P :P

Iv just done the same thing, very happy with the heater when all plumbed in, go to wickes or B&Q and just buy a two threaded connectors and then two hose lock connectors and job done. The regulator that comes with it is perfect you won't need to change it.

I stand corrected on what I said about taking a risk and ordering from China, that's a very quick delivery time  ;)
