advice please
« on: October 25, 2013, 07:23:28 pm »
I have an internal job to do at some flats, there are two stairs and three floors to clean, it looks like marble or marble coated concrete (if there is such a thing) sorry no photo, pressure washing is out of the question as it's internal, what chem would you use to spray on to clean the marble so I can then just mop it clean?
it's only everyday dirt & grime nothing serious.
thanks.
!! if it can get dirty it can get clean !!

I don't understand what you mean - polished concrete ? I thought marble was acid sensitive ? I'd like to do Kevin's course but its finding the time

The poster said there are 2 surfaces, one of them looks like what seemed to be a marble coated concrete (if there was such a thing). I'm just taking a shot in the dark and saying to the untrained eye it may actually be acid stained concrete, it's quite big in America and growing over here, it's basically a concrete that colour stained to give mottled effects and vivd colours then highly polished and sealed to give a seemless high gloss look

Very popular in the States and beginning to get big in Europe now.  We are just in the process of doing it to our Warehose floor.  In fact people who come on our courses will get to have a go at it on the 3rd free grinding day!
