for those that have their lpg gas heaters on back van doors how did you do it?post pics if you can guys it would be most helpful! ive not got any plywood on my kangoo door and ive bought a thick piece of board to mount the unit to but not sure how im gonna fix it to van door! cheers guys
can u not fix it to the side of the van just by the rear door rather than the van door, that's what we did, we then mounted the heater onto batons, ran some heatshield insulation up the back of it and secured batons with to the appropriate sections of the inner skin to the van.Graham
i hang it from a hook so you can it inside to prevent frost damage

I bought X2 strips of metal straps with holes in from B&Q measure from the fat side edge of door to the other, cut strap drilled holes in the fat edging of back doors and you should have a bolt as back of shower which you can bolt onto metal straps. Use self tapping screws easy peasy !!!
do you have a drill, drill a pilot hole with a small diameter (metal) drill bit they will go in and cut thier own thread and yes my friend they will hold
