Cloths for window frames, sill, ledges
« on: October 22, 2013, 05:03:27 pm »
@TheRealSWGC: Need some really heavy absorbent cloths for wiping round window frames, sills and ledges etc. Who can help? Mainly work in offices and hospitals so need cloths that can handle a lot of wiping/mopping up and ringing out. Using ones now from cleaning spot and they aren't lasting long enough. Any help appreciated.

I've just bought a load from JTF. Think they were £3.99 for 10. Like microfibres but they seem denser and more absorbant. They can be easily wrung out are good to go again. Very good value for money.

JTF is a cash n carry type place that sells to the trade, they don't have an online store as far as I'm aware so you'll have to check if there is a store near you.

I get mine from screw fix
£25 for a pack of 50
They're like thicker, more absorbent micro fibres, not very good on glass but perfect for wiping sills and the like
Thanks,

Appreciate the feedback. Think the Screwfix ones are the same as what I use now. Just came across e-cloth. Anyone used these? Bit more expensive but could be worth the extra £'s

Towels; why complicate it?
It's a game of three halves!

We promote microfiber little waffle glass cloths, extremely durable and can be laundered up to 800 times, probably the highest performance microfiber cloths available for cleaning glass and mirror surfaces if you would like further information email  info@jskcleaning.ie

If you do, I can get my hands on some.
I'd have to pull a few strings, mind.

Cheers for that tip Scott... popped into Screwfix & found they're on offer, only £20 for 50 & they look identical to the Unger Microwipes I bought recently. Bargain!  ;D

I've tried Tadgh's waffle cloths, Paragon's glass cloth & fish scale cloths.

Paragon fish scale are the best in my eyes!!
