If you can do them for a fiver or less than you are in . A lot are not worth having one guy i know had every shop in the high street near me .

Then he got undercut £3-4 from bigger out of town firms they are lucky to mke a profit some spend more on diesel than they earn . Mike

What you're describing isn't worth it IMO... unless you can get the one next to it and so on and so on....

I done a bit of a push lately ... got invited to quote on a property where they were currently paying £12 ... they clearly wanted it done for less... and as mike has described therefore making the profit very tight... so I just declined ...I try not to base business on cost alone .... there has to be a great deal placed on the quality of work.... you therefore have to find the right balance... and the right customer...

May sound sad however I have done that in the past just to build up my customer base.   I always make sure I make profit but I do as my lads might be passing thru the street and why not just pull up and clean the windows.

Re op,charge what you think is a fair price.
Remember, commercial is quite cut throat so don't think you can charge big money for a small job like some of the millionaire shiners on here make out you can.  ::)roll ::)roll
Like said if you can get a few in an area at reasonable prices you can make not bad money
