i sold my SLX 25 and SUPERMAX 40 a few months ago and bought an extreme 25 and an extreme 47.both poles are a lot lighter and more rigid than the SLXs.
IMO they are well worth the money as my working day is a lot easier on the arms and shoulders.if you do a lot of poling like most of us do then id say go for it.you wont be disappointed in these poles.
yes granted they are expensive poles and i actually thought they d forgot to put the pole in the box of my 25 footer it was that light!
i use the 25 day in/day out for normal domestic/medium commercial work and the 47 for anything higher.i now have no aches and pains after a days/weeks/months work.you cant put a price on that.
i use my 25 with an aqua-daptor mk3 XL and either an extreme brush, radius sill brush or the standard DT medium mixed brushes with a resi neck or carbon gooseneck depending on the work im cleaning.all are interchangable with the quick loc system.all from gardiners.
poles have come a long way since my 20ft streamline fibre glass pole that i started with which was an awful pole IMO.I then had a brodex hydra ali pole,22 clx,25 slx,40ft supermax and a 22 slx.
so i went through 6 poles before finally arriving at the extremes.i still have the slx 22 which is an emergency back up pole but i wont be going back to anything other than the extremes in the future for sure.
best wishes
