Advertising A board works again!
« on: October 07, 2013, 12:38:20 pm »
Just an update on my wonder boardddddd.
I placed it somewere for a few weeks gained about £250 worth of jobs.
Then got told to move it so i kept it at home for a while, just put it back out over the weekend and got another £100 job!
So my advice is if any of you live close to a busy road get one put on your lawn!

Also its worked way better than leaflets ever have and less
Effort:)

Yeah great idea. I am about to move house, to a location just along from a primary school. Think I may make a board to put up at start and finish of school day, lots and lots of people will see it! :)

well every job has the potential to be a full time.. they just need persuading 8-) however most of the jobs have been Saturday facia etc jobs wich I love doing anyway  ;D I have gained 4 monthly jobs from it, but that isn't bad considering its only been stood for around 3 weeks in total

a very polite council worker... but it could be either 1- the area I placed it was were there is due to be a new row of shops getting built, next to a school and right on a main road.
2- it could of been a rival taking the PEE
I have it at a new estate now so anyone who drives in the estate will see it on the way out, and very small chance council will click on

This is a good idea. In the US they use this type of self promotion a lot. They call them lawn signs :)
