Sandstone floor

Bloody people, just quoted a 40sqm floor in Sandstone, a real minger. Clean and seal and he wants it done for £295. What's wrong with these sh*t heads. Sorry rant over. P

Yeah Graeme mate, taking on easy ones til totally healed up. This cheeky tw*t even specified Ultra Solv, he wants steak but only wants to pay for Findus burgers :(

in central London there are many companies that will do that work for £250.00 and applying 2 coats of sealant

Really, don't these guys have minimum charges, or are they counting on being in and out and onto the next one. Using decent sealers and all other bits and bobs they are working for £150ish a day which is pish, my oven cleaner earns more than that.

Not with 2 coats of Aqua Mix Ultra Solve they aren't quoting that price unless they are cleaning the floor for £40

they use I think emulsion polish with water.............one company use Fila matt applied with a mop!!
and one company apply one very thin coat of stainstop or LTP mpg sealer or smp stain guard or whats in there van!!!

That's what I mean "Ride em Cowboy"  Just had a guy on the phone today he got called in to sort 40M2 Nero maquina the idiots sealed it with Lithofin Slate Seal it takes all sorts ::)roll

Surprise surprise the guys been back on, wants to discuss prices. He must of had some other companies in giving realistic prices. I've told him I won't entertain £295 unless he forgets about using Ultra Solv. Told him I could offer him an economical sealer that still offers good lasting protection. Going to see him in morning so we will see what happens :)

When a customer starts out thinking he knows better than you do it's usually a really bad sign, I'm sure you know this but be careful.
