OWN GOAL ?
« on: March 09, 2006, 01:13:24 pm »
I know rules are rules and all that but I can't help thinking the site owners have shot themselves in the foot now with withdrawing the pm system.

I now know loads of people  on here who go to the other site just to use there pm, of course well there we have a browse around. Most times I'm on here I have cp open as well and hop about checking my pm's, many people have joined just to use the pm system.

CIU are actually driving traffic to the other site.
Bet they can't believe their luck!!!

What was the reason? its been some time now, maybe some one will tell, we have the pm system on our little forum ;) and its used all the time, its probably the first thing you do is look for your messages.

garyj,

ROFLMHO  you have messages from friends on SCSF forum. WOW.

that must make you feel real good. ;)

when i'm on the SCSF forum, i too have friends, i chat with them very often, don't see you on there? mmmm :-\

don't mock something until you've tried it.
i think you'll find the cleaning industry can handle 2 good forums.

please keep any bad opinions to your self. ;) ;D

CIU has no need to worry.

Yesterday, I was denied my usual fix........ so I tried other forums, but this one's better.

Lynn, what you on about????
I wasn't talking about SCSF, don't be so presumptuous. EVERYONE else on here knows the site I am talking about ( except you ).

Yep, Beachy deleted his post, its a habit both he and Mancherry do, and alter them AFTER replies. I often wondered if they were the same person.

;D ;D ;D

Gary, I am a real person.  I live in Newcastle upon Tyne, the city I fall in love with.  Paul Bruce, who is a member of this forum, has met me and my partner (Maria) some time ago.  Gary, I will be at Carpex and look forward to see you there... ;) Do you like beer, I do... Newcastle Brown Ale is my favourite… Lets have a drink together… ;D ;D

Kind regards,
Arthur

I saw your photo here, the one you took 20-30 years ago, so I hope to recognise you at Carpex.  My avatar shows me and my partner at my last birthday party, which was in May 2005 when I visited my parents in Lithuania…
  :)
Kind regards,
Arthur

Can't imagine why anyone would wish to visit ' the other site 'they saw fit to block me using the p/m with no explanation and this was followed a couple of days later by similar action against another well known and respected individual.

Quite frankly, they are not worth visiting. The postings are generally boring and stilted. There is the occasional rebellious comment, but it's a bit like being at school.

Remember, there's an open forum on here, where you can discuss any subject and I presume talk to each other, freely.
