Been looking at Bing search and window RT this weekend as Google cant give me the clicks I need now. First Bing and its connection with windows RT it looks really nice with its card layout. If you get a chance today pop down to PC world and have a look. Had a look at Ebay app on RT as well and the same thing it looks really different to what you normally see.
With the lunch on the new surface 2 and all the stock that took the right down on the market is full of Microsoft stuff at the moment. they are even doing a ipad trade in deal. Back to Bing you will be getting advise from your SEO guys about using it more because of google keeping back the search terms which makes their job much harder. apple siri is now using Bing so thats interesting as well. I not saying its all over for google just interesting times. how long it will take microsoft to move everyone over to the RT way is unknown, but they are getting a new boss soon so they might have a new insight in how to do that.
we all know people like the touch and swipe interface so it will take over in time. it was exciting to see search on a touch interface it looked so new and fresh compared with the normal list layout. if you take that layout like the ebay app on windows RT and you can really see how things will look in the years to come. google has its own "google now" and some other card type apps so they are moving that way.
I know many will not be interested in this stuff but I love it its so cool. just look at the new moto x phone that's listening for your voice command all the time, so you will not even have to touch the phone soon. thats the star treck stuff google loves
