Does anyone do a 50ft or 60ft pole that can be used for one off jobs regardless of weight or quality of material used.Looking for something to leave in garage most of year.

Don,t think there is such a thing as it would not be useable at that height without being full carbon, and it would still need to be of a good quality (high modulus carbon).

You may be better subbing the higher stuff to someone you can trust.
I clean for some guys.
They clean everything Upto 50ft (as that's what poles they've got) and I clean everything above.
If you're not used to higher work it's quite different to low stuff...

Yes  that would be able to clean  anything I would hope to clean. I could tender for winter gardens in blackpool with that thing.
The bloke paid 2 grand for it so i would imagine it will fetch a decent price,bit outta my league to have slung in back of garage. im not desperate i could always extend the elite a bit more if need be.

Hi,
We use a 60ft Extreme Pro from X-Line in Nottingham. It's a budget pole at just over a Grand. It's carbon and quite light for a big pole. We use it on commercial stuff and a few very high Victorian houses. Good value, had no probs with it.

I was looking at the pictures on ebay of it extended, sections look black carbon fiber to me, with only the base section being coloured. Who really knows if the seller paid 2k for it originally but I've never heard of a fiberglass pole costing that much.

Please can someone tell me how the f...  do you extend the sections on that pole? you need a ladder to get up to the clamps! Besides i have used a pole up to 66 foot and maintain that much over 55 foot is pretty much unworkable.

It could be as carbon fibre can be painted like most materials.

10 years ago I used to clean some jobs with a 60 ft (ott pole I think) that was similar to this. The trick was to open first 3 or so sections and elevate it from horizontal and lean it against a wall at such an angle that you could reach the clamps and extend it further and further up the wall section by section.
 Agree with you though Stevie, i only clean to 40ft these days.
