Just wondering what sort of prices you guys would quote for a 17 window detached property (bear in mind most of the windows are large) via Tradtional method including frames & sills?

Cheers

Depends how large the windows are, wfp I charge £2 for a large window, £3 for a bay window.
I guess you would charge more trad as it takes you longer maybe £3.50 a window x 17 =£59.50

What about £59.99, sounds cheaper than £60

Cheers guys. I was cleaning at £50, but have since found out a guy is doing them at £7! These are very large houses (officers) on a guarded military estate. Can't see how anyone can even think of doing them at that price, especially with all the extra hassle of signing in, getting passes, etc. Now i look as though i am charging the earth (to the customers) and i'm priding myself on having built a real good reputation. How anyone can sustain a living at those prices & pay for liability insurance etc, i'll never know!  :-\

Someones doing a 2 hour job for £7  :D

I'd say you are miles too cheap mate, but this is the problem with staying trad I guess, you could wfp it in an hour and make £30 but if you charged £60 for 2 hours trad work they would say you was too much

Cheers mate. I've just gone wfp - just odd few i do via trad now. These requested trad. Even if I offer wfp, they'll want it done at around same price as he charges. Think I'll just stick to my residentials & commercials
