35 foot pole
« on: March 07, 2006, 07:57:12 pm »
Hi all,

I am soon to buy a couple of poles from Gardiner pole systems and was thinking about getting an 18 foot one for the majority of my work and a 35 foot one for the really high stuff.

I normaly do any windows that are about 30ft high with a ladder but due to the high risk factor I want to start using the pole system.

I was wondering if anyone here had used a 35 foot pole made by gardiner before and if so was it sturdy enough to do the job or flexi as a whip?

I dont want to buy it if its going to be really bendy.

Thanks all

Hi djcleaning

I dont have a 35ft but have a 30ft from gardiner, i find mine quite sturdy, but there not for the faint hearted because they are fiberglass they weigh quite heavy, i suppose it depends on your build & age, both of these are against me.

If you are young and have a good build i would recomend these poles from them, also the sevice from them is very good.

Hope this helps, Cheers Jeff.

DJ we have just got a 36ft from Gardiner. Its brilliant.
I started 2 years ago with wfp and used the Trident poles that came with my omnitrolley package.(Heavy but sturdy and reliable.)
We used a 36ft ergolite for about 9 months which was lighter but....... ;)
Now we are using the Gardiner and to be honest we dont think it feels any heavier than the ergolite.
Go for it mate.
