Is 37 before di normal on a brand new unit or am i needing a booster pump to get it down more(i have 40 psi pressure at mains)??.I remember my last merlin was 37 before di as well. Does anyone use a merlin with a booster pump and can get it lower than 37 from 360ppm tap.
If its a booster pump i need which 1 is best??
Cheers.

We managed to get 300 incoming down to 11 product with an 80 psi pump - It's seems to be VOLUME of available water & pressure that allows this. My own set up with a Merlin had 128 incoming which I couldn't get any lower than 27 product with an 80 psi pump as, due to altitude, I couldn't extract the water from the pipe at full volume.

That's about normal. Mine trends to vary for some unknown reason. It's coming out at about 20ppm now but I'm happy with 35ppm

That's interesting. I might look into that when I move.

Not long i doubt, if i get 2 months out of a sack ill be happy. Was using 300gpd before at 20ppm before di but had to have it on 24/7, now i just have it on 8 hours a day so even though its a higher ppm im hoping resin will last just as long. I only had myself to fill up with my last merlin so will have to see how it goes.
