On site dry cleaning
« on: September 22, 2013, 01:09:49 pm »
Looking at offering on site dry cleaning service on drapery and upholstery.
Can anyone give any pointers on how to price up curtain cleaning? (dry cleaning)
Also i know that it is very niche but what would be the best way to calculate fee's regarding the dry cleaning of upholstery?
Bearing in mind the cost of the dry cleaning fluid etc...

Any help from people who offer this service would be great

Hi Steve

It's a service I am really only aiming at the customer who have the larger houses and the better quality drapes where removal is just not feasible.
As mentioned its a service I also want to offer customers with dry clean only upholstery.

Upholstery; taking into account your extra chemical cost, £220 for a 3 piece?

I don't think your get as good results as wet clean though.

You get a different customer wanting dry cleaning they perceive it as better or less damaging and they will pay for a premium service on site curtain cleaning can be lucrative providing you find the right customer which is the hard bit I used to do quite a bit but its tailed off this year.
