hi,i have been using Prochem solutions and spotters mainly for the last fifteen years.Happy with a lot of there products ,but some fall short in my opinion.Want to find out between chemspec or craftex is there better spotters than what i am now using.These or a few that i am not so confident with from the prochem range.

Urine neutraliser
odour neutraliser
coffee/tea stain remover

Prochems rust remover isn't up to much, I use the Craftex one, works fast and I can't think of a time it didn't work!

Up until recently I have been using SPM, but now changed to a few other products, Dynamall (fantastic results), and Chemspec DFC105. Tried it today, as well as ECO friendly, its just as good if not better than SPM.  I have now moved over from Solutions products to Chemspec.  Restormate mate, and John Kelly fantastic service.  Really impressed.

I've not really tried spm Jason Lawal gave me some tonight I'll be trying it out tomorrow, I'll not lie I love chemspec products but I do like to try other products I don't want to become a stick in the mud.

I find Chemspecs Urine Contamination  treatment the best for urine.

SPM is great stuff, but I don't like Solutions, not going to lie.  I've moved over to Chemspec now.  If it's good stuff like many say, then I will carry on using it. SPM is not good on urine, won't make a bit of difference to trying to get rid of the smell. 

Restomate sell something that's just as good as MPower (solutions product), and it's cheaper too.  This will eliminate urine and vomit smells staining. Chat to John Kelly from Restomate about his product.

Restomate customer service is fantastic.

Urine contamination treatment does what it says on the bottle it's made especially for what it says on the label I always have some in stock just for the old dears.

I use SPM and have used Cleansmart's similar product and as  a layman I don't see a lot of difference,they both do a good job

Good point. No it doesn't.
I think you have to come up with your own list of favourites which comes through trial and error.
I've tried products other people say is brill and find it is nowhere near as good as the product we were using at the time.
Personal preference me thinks.

I would have to agree Simon.  It's what we feel comfortable with and what we get the best results from.  Whatever solution we use to clean carpets is only part of the job. We need a good machine too, along with the right tools. The operator being one of them.

The rug shampoo from Jamie I'd release it hydrox, btw tried spm on a house today and it was superb need some more tests though before I get my wallet out again this year.

SPM is good stuff, just customer services from Solutions is not good.  I had sent two emails about two different things, and no reply.  That's really poor!  I have around 7kg of SPM left.  Just put it away for now.  Using Dynamall and Chemspec produts from now on.

Dynamall is great for bonnet cleaning, but also good for extraction too.  Just expensive to use on extraction, but really cost effective for bonnet cleaning.  I would say 80% of jobs i do is freshening the carpets up, so this is were dynamall comes into its own. I like the stain guard protection on it for a great selling point.  Just add £5 per carpet if custy wants this method of cleaning.

I did a 5k job last week with SPM , used 70 quids worth of product.

Ive never had a problem with solution , they are a "trade outlet" for chemicals , whilst they offer "training"  I see this as a paid for product , I know because Ive been in their offices that they get loads of calls with basic questions that could be answered on the website by reading product instructions or by taking a training course.

Its a bit like going to Jewsons and asking them how to lay bricks.

Solution get so tied up on the phone that they barely have time to pack out orders somedays.
