Carpets Cleaned With a Smile
« on: September 20, 2013, 08:14:56 am »

Hey guys, this carpet was stinking.  In fact every carpet in this ladies house was stinking.  I thought I had seen dirty water before until I cleaned these carpets, but hey they came up real good. One happy customer.

well done, confidence is important in what we do because you need to know the limits of your methods. this also helps you when doing your walk though as you can say with confidence before you clean as to what the customer can expect. doing this up front is so much more professional than after as it sounds like excuses.

Don't tell anyone :-)

Every single carpet in this ladies house was this bad... Sprayed down, then agitated with my oreck, finally extracted.  She was over the moon... Only problem she was a chain smoker and must have had 50 cigs in the few hours I was their.... I stank. Ohhh well the things we do for our loyal customers.

Why would you want to change products after getting such results ???

Different chemicals do different things. SPM I will keep for end of tenancy cleaning carpets.  Chemspec is great stuff too and would have just as good a result if I had used their product.

No offence to Darren but you can get those results with lots of products. I'm sure Darren knows that.

You can, but It's what the operator feels confident with.  Like I would not use something called MPower, many rave about it, but I don't. Great for vomit and urine odour, but anything else it's not for me.

Good psi with good vacs, and the machine does the rest.  The key is agitation with the solution on the carpet.  No matter what solution I use, I always agitate with my oreck or rotary if on commercial work.  Then again if I'm on commercial work, the Dynamall is the product for me :-)

The only solutions product I use every now and again is the mpower spotter, can't get on with the mpower prespray! But as for smelly carpets, I had on the other day, old gent 92, had been ill and simply can't move fast enough to get to the toilet :( I cleaned from the doorway in, wearing a mask to stop me gagging. Loads of cleansan and heat at 230 and psi up! Cleaned his toilet for him and changed his armchair seat cover and put the soiled one in the washing machine. I just had to not think about it and get on with it, there was no way he could stay like that and I have the machine to clean it and give him some dignity back. Was he happy? he tried to give me double the money!
ps. sorry didn't take any photos  ;D
