ive just started using the wfp system. ive got an old ionix system and it has a 60psi pump, im using 60m of microbore but in order to get a good flow i have to adjust the pump so it sounds like its stop starting. should i get a 100psi pump fitted instead?

That im affraid is the answer , i could be wrong though , i think its to do with friction of water in the smaller bore of hose .
I use 12mm at the mo and am looking at going to 6mm , im only on a 60psi pump , if it cant handle the smaller bore , then 100psi it is then !
Look at it this way , you could always use your old pump to set yourself up with a DIY trolley , thats my plan .

Your Pump is "cycling" on the pressure switch, showing that the pump is having to generate 60 psi to get the water through your microbore hose.
Going to 100psi should help.

Yeah for anything over 50m m/bore go 100psi. Remember also that some m/bore creates less backpressure than others and also the backpressure will increase when the water is colder. The 90psi aquatec are well worth looking at also, have used and supplied both so can't say anything bad bout either.

I have 2 reels of m/bore hose,100 mtrs and the other 90mtrs.
I have a 60psi flowjet pump for each hose and I dont have a problem.
I get a flowrate of 1.9ltrs a min on the 90mtrs.
And 1.8 ltrs a min on the 100 mtrs.
In fact thats a touch too much water. But I dont get any cycling.
Works a treat.
