You should do plenty of research before parting with your money ,  i don't believe it comes anywhere near the the currently available UK built machines like the Ashbys Enforcer , Airflex or Alltec Machines in terms of basic engineering , design and build quality .
A machine should not need  ' upgrades '  !  by a distributor  ....    They are not upgrades  , they are patches for basic design flaws  .
You might get good service from Solutions and buy it if it suits you  ,  but if you do your research and still buy it  ....   then you truly deserve it     :)

I was looking at one of Alltecs prototype machines yesterday with the 6.6s and it looks like Chris may have figured out one of the reliability issues with these vacs when twinned.

Well worth a look at if considering a new machine.

where did you read it? On the other chanel which is their sales platform, full of lies, ass lickers etc. ?
Do not waste your money, theres better machines, with better look, service and price.

I think there were issues with the jag as said earlier probably design flaws !.

do a search on here for previous posts, there were enough of them if I recall correctly.

I think if I had a machine with design faults I would not expect to have to pay nearly £700 to have them rectified.
that says it all ?.

I've had a jag and I'd say that the customer service is excellent from solutions, I have however looked inside and had a play with the alltec machine and I did like what I saw they look as though they have sorted out the problems with the 6.6 vac motors which all suppliers have had problems with its a very well designed and built piece of machinery.

Hi Guys

As I understand it the 6.6 motors are just not as robust as the older versions.

Cheers

Seems a bit it and miss with reported Ametek 6.6 failures  ,   I wouldn't be too put off trying them in an Alltec or Airflex .
If you really didnt want to chance them i'd say ( not sure )   Alltec , airflex ,Ashbys  would swap in two of the heavy duty Electro motors ( in the two cord machines )
insted of the 6.6 in the storm or Evolution .

The Mytee LTD5 and 1005dx use two of these in parallel  .   I know this chap in the states upgraded from a Jag 6.6 to Mytee ltd5/1005  and he has not noticed a difference in performance .

Ok...

I have owned a Jag and to be fair it performed well and never let me down in the 18 months i had it.
I now own an Ashbys Enforcer and the Alltec Express.
Both machines are fitted with Electro motors (x1 HD & x1 SD)  in series and so far so good.
Chris also fitted my Express with a 2" vac barb.

Both machines produce excellent performance... and as for service Chris drove 2 hours to my home address and swapped out my machine after the HX developed a leak... how many suppliers would of done this?

Why not? What is so bad about a Seller of any machine putting in extra efforts trying to help the Buyer after the purchase of equipment? Poor or flawed designs; bad equipment? Don't think so. Been doing this for over 40 years now.

I see nothing wrong with constant upgrades (on our models) of past equipment sold to the Operator whenever we discover through newer technologies and/or newer components available if those items or slight adjustments will make a system better.
Automobile companies do that all the time as well as many other makers of various items.

John, in all due respect I believe that you constantly reveal your real motives when commenting on our products and/or efforts.  Never forget that you can't make your candle burn any brighter by trying to blow someone else's. ;)

best to all;

Oh , dont make it sound like solutions are over there developing your machine  ,   they call them upgrades but they are not upgrades  , they are desperation measures   eg they are fitting electronic cutout half way down the tank to try and stop the water ingress issue ....  might fix the problem but your are left with a tiny usable tank  ,  what else , they try to fix the pumpout so it works , hardly an upgrade ,it should have worked in the first place .... then there's the fitting bits of hose to the vac exhaust and telling the owner he has gained another 200cfm     .  and then charging them for the privilege      Rofl
No doubt some fairly clever people like John Bolton have tried come up with improvements for the Jags issues ....  but it cant be done  , its like polishing a tu£d  .
Many customers and users over the years have tried to offer you suggestions and feedback to improve the machine but you have consistently thrown it back in their faces .
Its a cheaply built machine starting with the lawnmower wheels up  , you sell  it to newbies on a site posing as a carpet cleaning forum .
I will always be on the side of manufactures who go to expense time and effort to develop the best machine possible and then are proud to stand beside it and show it off  at tradefairs.
I know a non censored forum like this doesn't suit you but i am expressing my opinion .

Radel I think your comment above is a bit of a generalization of everyone who posts on there ,I have read some very good threads and gleaned some very useful info ,and I do not own a Jag or use solutions and have no affiliation or loyalty to them .

Tony, do not treat every word so serious, it is obviouse that full of ass lickers does not mean everyone there. Even those ass lickers are very helpfull but only helping selling solutions stuff advising to use their products only. If you trying to come with other product they will push you for 'useless' mpower etc.

And Radel may I point out that " full of " refers to everyone , and the fact you then say "even those ass lickers are very helpful " underlines my point .So it is certainly not obvious in my view .Your comments are not constructive but very offensive . I certainly dont agree with everything that is posted on there far from it ,just like I dont agree with everything that is posted on here ,but I am an adult and can make my own mind up whether I am being cajoled into buying a certain product without resorting to offending anyone .
