I'm not going but I was looking at the adverts and I'm sure it doesn't say what time it starts?

Just had an email from  the NCCA telling me about it, the first info I have received the day before ::)roll

If it's a private NCCA Event then fine, but if they want potential member to come along they should have had better advertising

I went.
Very quiet. Not many stands or demos.
Dont know if that was down to the weather, or poor advertising as Im getting that vibe on this string.
Still worth it though, good to meet and chat to the companies there.
And I only travelled 12 miles to get there. Sweet!

The NCCA statrted to up its gain last year and the event went well, they whete doing lots of promotional work on face book too, i think it was because of the TACCA movement.
Looks like  ncca is starting to melt away again back to its old self.

We attended and showed Encap products including Releasit, Cimex with Spray Kit, HOS Orbot and our Drill Brushes we had a really good show and sold off some bargains.

I even got a new water claw for £200 in the auction (and a bag of lettuce for a fiver...)

In all a good day with steady flow of people. We gave out over 70 sample packs of product and didnt manage to speak to everyone so it was reasonably well attended.

Some big names weren't there this year but it didn't seem to matter.
Atmosphere was good and it was nice to put some faces to names on here.

Our Friday night BBQ/Bar in conjunction with www.kirstyskids.org was rather soggy but still a great night as before.

Looking forward to next year.

I agree with Paul it was a bit late with the advertising I didn't see the time it started on any adverts hopefully the ncca will take notice for the next one.

Really enjoyed it. Another good night in the Briden Arms and Jamies (not oliver) Kitchen. Did think it was going to be a complete washout due to the weather but ended up really quite good.
NCCA admitted they had took their eye off the ball a little with big changes taking place with the head office systems. Also the guy who was tasked with arranging everything took ill which didn't help matters. Despite all this it was still good.
Don't forget the NCCA is only run by volunteers just as TACCA is.
Tghis is an excellent venue and with 2 new directors of the NCCA tasked with developing this next year should be even better.

they should have run in conjunction with vanfest again or even tacca, maybe that would have given them a bigger footfall.

If you have an event like this every year then the numbers don't multiply they actually divide its the same with most shows it needs to have new things of interest to draw people in also the advertising wasn't good if you look at the tacca day it was very well advertised and pushed but was it showing any more demos and exhibits than the carnival? I'm not sure but you can't wave to people who aren't there or you'll get locked away!

The ncca need to push this from July and then get the exhibitors to push it Derek west was like a dog with a bone with the tacca day something for the ncca to chew on (pun intended) a great day for the ncca is a great day for the industry.

Organisations needs to realise there a new kid on the block called..... The Internet  where people can come together and chat,  its not the 90s where the only way we carpet cleaners got to meet was at yearly tradeshows. In those days  it was enough just to organise A day where we could meet (and throw in a couple of disguised sales pitches for good measure)

We now have a place to come together, so if they want us to travel to these events they need to  offer something to make it worth our while
