I use the ungers and god do they make your hands smell like dog turd !
They are nearly dead now , i dont think i will get them again , but they are good and i cant complain , they did me for 2 winters !
Im thinking of getting those sealskinz for next year , how do you all rate them ?

Yes i have been getting this problem now for a few years.
Guess i will have to trade her in for a newer model.

Regarding the gloves i put mine on last week only for about an hour the unger neoplolene (ignore spelling)
And my hand did reek a bit when i took them off.
And its very rare i use gloves.

It's rare I use gloves also but that neopreme stink after a few uses.   :-X

My missus also complained so what I used to do was every week turn them inside out and wash them with the scrims.

I now use Seal Skinz's. Much much better.

I've been using mine on and off since January and there's hardly any pong worth worrying about. That's reminds me - it's time for this months bath.

I've hardly worn  my ungers except for first thing in the morning,  after 20 mins though I'm warm enough and my hands start aching anyway so I take them off. just try using them only when the cold is really nipping your fingers.

line them with those polythene ones you get at the diesel pump at your local garage.

sealskins are good and keep your hands very dry.
bit of a wierd feeling though as the outer layer is cotten and when wet they drip! the gloves have a middle layer that is water proof but as the top layer retains water, on a cold day you do get a little bit chilly on your digits.
I'd rate them 7/10. not bad but not brilliant. the upside is they dont make your hands smell like you've had your hand up lassie's arse
