You wont notice much difference in rigidity between the clx18 and slx18.So the only thing that would make me pay extra for a slx18 is if I thought itwould last longer.

Its starting to look like the Clx is starting to look like the option. Im starting up and its half the price. I have an old heavy fibreglass 30 footer that behaves like a whip ariel on a clansman radio. Between the two I should manage to do most jobs until I can afford to compete with Dazmond and have an extreme for every occasion… lol

I honestly don't notice much difference in the rigidity compared to the 18 ft. clx.
